Hey Everyone,

I'm heading off to the hospital tomorrow so the docs can poke at my skull some more. Ostensibly to try and figure out why my migraine attacks are more frequent lately. I wonder if the fact I haven't used pot in over a week has anything to do with it, lol. My GP is cool with the remedy, but the specialists want a clean chem screen, so I does as they says, right? Anyways, I'll be gone a week for sleep tests and treatment for clotting. So for anyone who cares I should be back in town the 13th. Wish me luck. :)

hey elred

after puberty, i got *wicked* migraines at least once a month until i started smoking pot daily at age 22...when i was about 28, i quit pot for 18 months and the migraines returned

i still smoke pot everyday and i get a 'mild' migraine maybe twice a year

believe me: i know the difference between a bad headache and a migraine

Thanks mal, skit and everyone! Your thoughts are much appreciated. : )

I made it back alive! Had three migraine attacks in six days; only one in the sleep lab. It's like the singing frog from looney toons: never belts out when you want. Arhggh!

Didn't learn a damn thing about treating the attacks. The OFFICIAL recommendation goes something like this: "interrupted sleep patterns may partially trigger your symptoms." No bleedin' shit! An I'm dry til weds.

Xan, my love, where art thou? I'm heartbroke I got no condolences from you. Boo hoo.

My migraines date back to when I was 3 and a kid with a hammer tried to murder me. At 19, I found cannabis and lost the headaches! No cannabis = migraines! I've been scanned all sorts of ways, but they come up with ZILCH! Welcome to my club! You might want to send these articles (anonymously) to your doctors!
