my view is that these places are have no hope of surviving the feds. The feds are made up of inhuman Americans who enjoy pointing loaded guns at peoples heads.
The only way that this will become sane is if thousands and thousands of people are willing to riot and go to jail over this issue, which I am not reccomending but other than a massive protest movement like the 60's, the feds can take a thousand agents or more and like, the mission is to shut down all the clinics in LA or Maui, and they will do so.
As long as most people can get their admittedly shitty weed with fairly easiness, there is no incentive for the masses of weed smokers to join such a protest.
I wish there was a better way out of the mess we are in.
My personal hope is that Canada would legalize it and then perhaps they would see so many folks spending their vacations up there.
But I am not sure how this is going in Canada these days, it does seem to be taking a lifetime even though they have semi legal situation in BC.
