I've been using a vaporizer with iffy results. I started grinding my buds instead of just breaking them up, and that seems to help some. Would I get a better high if I crank the temp on the vaporizer?

Any tips appreciated.

Answered my own question - toked on two separate occasions, with the same bud and the same vaporizer. First time I set it to 160 C (as the instructions said) and I got a little high but nothing great. Second time I set it to the max (200 C) and I got very baked. This was with pretty low-grade street bud; I'll try it with something a little more tasty as soon as I can find some.

I think ya might wanna turn it down a little. 200 is a bit too hot i for just vaporizing i think. If the chamber looks really cloudy, more liek somke, then it is probally set to high. Try experimenting with the whole range and compare your results.

it also depends on the kind of vapourizer you use...the ones that heat pot on a tiny frying pan inside a glass jar are the worst kinds of vapourizers...you can improve their performance by using moist bud that has been crumbled up...i used to crumble up the bud and put it in a film cannister with a small piece of orange peel and keep it in the frig

185 is a good temperature I find. I generally start a bit lower and work my way up to whatever I'm willing to go to, as the taste gets worse as the temp goes up.

i have a vaporizer and i live in an apartment and noticed since i got it my power bill went up that month. i don't use it that often but do vaporizers use a lot of power? it may just have been a coincidence. i also noticed that i get higher from my vaporizer when i take a normal breath and then i hold it as long as possible

It shouldn't use enough electric to be noticed on the bill. Unless you're using it 8 hours a day!!!
