Taking Marijuana on the Plane

Last time I went out there I just FEDEXED it to AZ, but now I just wanna take it with me. What are some pointers you guys can give me. Thanks. Also I'm flying out at 9:20 PM

Put it in your camera. The x-rays cant penetrate the camera, or the film, so you can pack a bit in that. Ive watched the x-ray machine work several times, security finds me a bit eccentric and generally lets me look at my bag as it goes through the x-ray machine, and they will answer your questions if you ask them what is what...and they do know what is what no matter how carefully or tightly you pack luggage. If you get patted down and the agent feels a lump there, you're not going to be questioned about it. If you're just traveling domestic, I wouldn't be worried about dogs. Anyway, all the dogs are trained to sniff out bombs now, not bud. I wouldn't recommend putting it in a camera; keep it on your body. It is much more likely that your belongings will be subject to a search. Also, there haven't been an airports that have installed the "x-ray" machine. There are too many questions regarding the legality of such a technology that have not been answered. Good Luck!

That comes with a standard police pat down and going over witht eh 'wand'. Just something else to consider.

The mistake people make is to handle the weed, then touch the container- it is a 2 person process, have one person touch only the weed and the other the bag to seal it up in. I once reloaded a pack of cigarettes that I replaced into a carton of cigarettes. I carefully unsealed the bottom of the pack and slid the cellophane off, then once the cigs were done, carefully slid the cellophane back on and resealed. It was on a flight out of Seatac to Anchorage. Hope this helps. Just remember to not touch the weed and container, it takes 2~
