Hi guys.
I've been a long time member here at Marihemp, and I'm hoping you will help me out a bit. I graduated with a BA in ceramics in September, and since then, I've been trying to get a custom pipe business going, but I live in the country, so that's not an easy thing to do.
I'd like to offer the Marihemp community a special offer - I will make and fire a pipe for free for the first two customers to make a request. Ceramics do not have a lot of the limitations of glass, so if there's something you're after to improve your smoking experience, I can probably help. I would ask that these first two pay for shipping so it's not a total loss for me, but the rest - my time, effort and expertise, as well as supplies - is free.
Hopefully, recipients of those pipes will come back here and spread the word about my craftsmanship so that I may begin selling them in earnest. This is how I've wanted to make my living ever since I first smoked from a clay pipe as a teenager and connected the dots.
Keep in mind that clay gives the user a really unique sense of being connected to the earth. It has much more personality (almost feels alive, unlike sterile, dead glass and metal) and will gradually absorb the oils from the smoke so that over time, the smoking experience continuously becomes richer.
