I was just wondering if anybody here could explain to me how to tell different types of weed or how good/bad it is based on looking at it? I've been smoking for quite a while but have never paid enough attention and looked closely at enough different kinds to really know how to tell if its good by inspecting it.

If it smells good it will (usually) be good. I never pre smoke what I buy, I smell it.
