2700k is the optimum most perfect kelvin .... the grow lights arnt lol , the really expensive ones are closes but the standard hps bulb is normally around 1900/2200k 4000k is a little high for a hps but if its a bulb with higher blue spectrum like a "growlux" bulb then its fine .. A normal hps around 2000k will veg a plant fine ,so a hps with a 4000k will do wonders : )
i got some white rhino atm ,,they look good ,still in veg but growing fast under 400watt growlux .
