Lighting Spectrums and Seeds/Strains

Rabid Chicken Registered on Jan-27-2007 More User Info Message #84366 posted by Rabid Chicken (Info) November 09, 2007 14:54:18 ET Just making sure before I press the order button I am getting a 105w CFL with 6720 lumens and 6500k and for flowering a 250w HPS with 17600 lumens and 4000k I was not sure if that HPS is the right spectrum because from what I have read flowering should be around 2700k but I also want to use the HPS for vegging as well as the CFL until flowering... All this is for a 2.5x2.5x5 ft box well vented and 3-6 plants probably white rhino and a NL BigBud Cross Also if anyone has suggestions on where to get good seeds for cheap I am all ears ...the last place did not ship and will not refund (DO NOT USE AMSTERDAM SEEDS) I am excited finally got everything set up in my own place except for the lights = ) Ill post pics when its all started

A normal hps around 2000k will veg a plant fine ,so a hps with a 4000k will do wonders : ) i got some white rhino atm ,,they look good ,still in veg but growing fast under 400watt growlux . http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=22
