I currently have 8 bubbler buckets going in a basement. Great results are happening, but the pH monitoring and the nutrient solution changing is becomin a hassle. So ive decided to switch to a one resevoir setup such as the Flood and Drain. Just wanted to know about you guys experiences and and problems youve had with the flood and drain. Thanks.

I found out a few simple things to do
1 mag drive pumps ONLY
2 gfi everything on differnt circuits
3 RTV the good stuff not the cheap shit
4 you can not use co2 injection only fresh air. In a cellar it would be a death trap. co2 goes to the lowest part and displaces air
5. hose clamps everything
6 largest holding tank you can get , stable ph and ppm is where its at
7 paint everything flat white floors also
8 automation using a computer and printer relay control with relay runner software.
Now I have only done it for a few decades so still learning. O YEA #1 should be BUY A EXPENSIVE PH AND PPM METER It will be the cheapest thing you will ever buy. It is the steering wheel of the system.

Thanks Sanclem. Also, How many plants would you put in a 2'x4' planter tray? I only have 1 400w hps, in a 6x6 section.

i have a production system, 2 x 4 should hold about 48 plants. Now if you want to make them a grow and bloom I would suggest about 6-12
now 12 till you find out which ones are growing good
kill the rest. Or give them to a friend as last resort.
change the bucket to 1/2 gallon and grow till 2 ft and shift to bloom. That should make a tight ass system .
