Has anyone heard of such a thing? He says it can cut your flowering down by as much as a third. He says it does an 18 hour on and 12 hour off cycle and that you finish a 10 week cycle in 7 because of the added light. Now I’m not a rookie but that sounded plausible or urban legend I’m trying figure out which it is.

For some strainge reason time on earth remains the same. Old wife tales abound for decades, but as Ben Franklin once said "all cats are gray in the dark". OLD WIFES tail. Now if you want you can use old dos prompts to program a printer port, using a Mod 74 printer relay card. a on cycle for 10hrs a off for 18 and repeat it in a loop. Proven to be as worthless as tits on a bull. I have used relayrunner for decades and had no problems. But use a 24 hr earth clocking system. From what I have seen no pot grows on mars , or any other planet. But open for suggestions by all, what ever planet your on.

I've read about it in other cultivation articals ... in fact Goerge Hervantes ( name prop. spelled wrong ) wrote about it in ( The Indoor Mari. Bible )Not exact but it goes something like this. From my understanding of it as long as the plants have 11 hour off cycles no less you can change the hours to like 10/11 or even to like 8/11 I belive. After this reducing the light will severly stunt growth..... However this is only to be used as a last resort to speed crops along, say if you have to move or have only 3 weeks to finish before your land lord comes to review you rental but you need 5 weeks of flowering time... 10/11 will give you around the same amount of cycles... within the shorter time frame. ( Hox Box Timer ) .... UM ..... the only Hox Box that comes to mind is the line of vaporizers. In retrospect : If all expert growers swear buy the ( veg 18/6 ) and ( flowering 12/12 ) it's more than likly the way to grow. As i'm sure someone somewhere has tryed just about EVERYTHING, and if it really worked with all the ppl in here we would know. P.S. If anyone like ( Geroge, Sanclem and others with that kind of exp. ) EVER find a way to speed up cycles that fast as to cut 1/3 of the flowering time down..... POST IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, I AND EVERYONE ELSE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW.

BUT if it worked , everyone would do it. Here is the problem DNA of the plant is stuck in a way for a few million years. The object of growing is to get the most crops per year, with the lest effort, time and time again. Grams /watts/months is the bottom line, cashcroppers, or hobbiest. Note when your system is honed to the day, almost to the hour. You like repeatablity over and over, cause that the bottom line. Have fun try it, cost about $75 bucks for the printer port relay card. Prove everyone wrong, hell I have tried it , go for it.
