I've read everything imaginable about feeding while growing organicly. Some say to start to flush during the last two weeks, but since I grow in soil I never flush unless it's absolutely necessary. Flushing in soil leaves a big muddy mess period, and I don't like doing it. As for hydro, it's a must do thing. But since I grow in soil, some say to feed normal nutrients right up to the last day. Some say to feed nothing but water for the last two days. I've tried it both ways and it didn't really make much of a difference in the finished product. Does anyone have any feed back on this subject? Enlighten me, please!

Hey im also trying to find out the best way. Heres what ive come across so far: My friend with basically some of the most powerful bud in the world (has thc % records) uses a very low ppm of blooming fertilizer the whole duration of their lifecycle (150 ppm). So what i am probably gonna do is drop the ppms during the last 2 weeks. Some people just feed it pure water the last 2 weeks but i think the plants still need some nutrients. it probly depends what kind of fert u use and if its liquid or not. There is a product also specifically for flushing that botanicare makes called Clearex. You use it a couple days b4 crop.

flushing isn't needed unless the soil gets contaminated by too much ferts or whatever...it's not needed in a normal grow and near-ripe plants seem to come out better when allowed to dry out a little more, sort of like the dryness of october's weather. i stop all ferts about 10 days before the expected harvest because i feel extra ferts aren't needed during the last stage of the ripening process and after a few months of vegging and flowering there's usually plenty of leftover ferts left in the soil. and it's just how i've always done it and i see no reason to change...
